EarlBlevins.jpg735 viewsThis very nice gentleman stopped what he was doing to show us where the Kell cemetery was. Earl was blowing leaves off the parking lot of a community center across from the church. He (I think-I didn't write a thing down) is a descendant of Squire & Sarah Ann. He led us to the cemetery, went home & came back to make sure we got back down the hill alright. He gave me his phone # and called his cousin Daniel Smith Blevins in Marion about Rhoda. Anyway he was very helpful, friendly & nice. Courtesy of Nanalee Wrenn

Kell Cemetery, Smyth County,Virginia508 viewsKell cemetery, from the upper side. It is MUCH steeper than it looks in this picture and when you get to the last stones at the bottom, there is a almost straight drop. The cemetery is on top of a hill. There is a pretty rough little rd that comes up to the foot but, we opted to walk up.
