This marker is in Piney Creek Methodist Church Cemetery, photo September 27, 2006 by Jeff Weaver. He was the son of Hogn Vysucj abd Susannah Barton, and a native of Grayson County, Va. He was first married to Ada Ann Halsey and secondly to Lucinda Mullins. He served as a croporal in the Stuart Horse Artillery in the American Civil War. He also served as a deacon at the Piney Creek Primitive Baptist Church
