We visited him in the church and in the settlement and in the family circle. We visited him in the church and in the settlement and in the family circle. We visited him in his last illness and conversed about his future happiness, his prospects were bright for Heaven and immortal glory. We deeply deplore our loss, but we are sure it is his eternal gain. In the language of the poet, why do we mourn departed friends, or shake at deaths alarm, 'tis but the voice that Jesus sends to call them to his arms.

Sister Ollie Parsons, wife of Brother R. C. Parsons was born February 14, 1859, departed this life July 25, 1910, age 51 years, 5 months and 11 days. She was converted and joined Bethel Baptist church at 15 years of age. After several years she moved her membership to Obids Baptist church, where her light shined brightly until her death. While she is sadly missed by friends and loved ones, we feel assured that her name has been written in the lambs book of life, and that she will be able to enter in through the gates into the city, where there will be no more death, neither sorrow nor crying, and where God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. -- Ettie Burgness.
