Lee County, Virginia Personal Property Tax List — 1835

This is a complete list of individuals in the lists, in the original order. Column ‘WM >16’ gives the number of white males greater than 16 years of age. Spelling is reproduced faithfully, to the extent possible. Distinction between a and o, and between e and i was often difficult. Capitalized middle initials were often difficult to interpret. Property amounts, taxes owed, and dates of submission were not transcribed, hence my designation of this as an incomplete transcription.
